Hosted Spain and co-organized with UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC/UNESCO), the 2024 UN Ocean Decade Conference took place on 10-12 April 2024 in the coastal city of Barcelona.

Dr. Singh’s student, Dorothy, participated of the conference with a important talk on her work on activating co-desing’s plutalist potential.  

Lefting a big impression on her session and discussion, Dorothy brought up gender and racial discrimination in an ocean sustainability conference, bringing up the things most are happy to keep hiden.
